New regulations for Zhengzhou government investment projects
Here is a exciting news for all the LED lighting products manufacturers in China.
Zhengzhou government is planning to promote LED lighting products in government investment projects. 120,000 pcs energy saving LED lamps will be applied by year 2015. According to this plan, the 120,000 LED lights include 78000pcs of street lamps, 20000pcs of Metro lamps and 22000pcs of garden lamps and corridor lamps. In this way, the annual energy saved will be over 90million KWH and the electricity saved will be RMB63 million, maintenance fee saved will be RMB55 million. That’s a very impressive figure.
According to the plan of Zhengzhou Government, starting from year 2010 , new roads, parks, squares, alteration of the government-funded projects which are involved in the lighting products, in principle, should adopt energy-saving LED lights, otherwise the projects will be rejected by relevant government departments. As for the LED energy-saving lamps installed in the community and subways, the Government will provide one-time subsidy for them.
