(2010-01-25)Kingsun Optoelectronic moves faster
"Research and application of eye comfort, environmently friendly LED street light", the project proposed by Kingsun was selected as one of the national "863" Approval project promulgated a few days ago. This event indicates Kingsun's independent innovation technology achieve new breakthrough in national monumental projects again, and the entrprise development will move faster.
It is reported that new type eye comfort, environmently friendly street light developed by Kingsun has advantage such as high efficiency, energy conservation, long lifespan, high CRI, etc., and no flicker, no UV, no harm to human eyes. Based on the estimation of authority, it will save 42 billion KWH on electricity if these new street lights were applied nationwidely, equal to yearly output of several super-large size collieries
Kingsun started R&D and application of low power LED in 1998, and realize mass applications in city bueatify projects from 2002. In recent years, Kingsun has allied with Tsinghua and other domestic famous universities to develop high power LED, and got great success on packaging and lighting application in street light, spot light, indoor lighting etc. These products have passed correlative test and certificate. Now Kingsun has more than 200 patents of their products.
