(2009-11-17)Dongguan Changping Optoelectronic Industrial Cluster Upgraded to Provincial Demonstration District
Dongguan Changping Industrial Cluster was successfully listed into the fourth round of Guangdong Provincial Industrial Cluster upgrading Demo District a few days ago, which will marvellously promote the casting and upgrading of town optoelectronic industry.
As known, there are 14 selected industrial cluster over all the province in the the fourth round of district, listed by Guangdong industrial cluster contact confab office, Changping optoelectronic industrial cluster successfully was selected as one of them and became one of the 7 provincil indusrtial cluster district in Dongguan.
According to the statistics, output value of Changping Electronics information industry in 2008 is RMB 19.15billion. Thereinto, optoelectronic information industry developed strikingly, with an average yearly growth 10%. Presently this town has more than 100 scaled opto enterprises, output value 13.7 billion, share 53.1% of the whole town scaled enterprises does. R&D and production of LED lighting series products has already formed plant-scale, Kingsun Optoelectronic Co., Ltd. as the leader of 14 enterprises, specialized in LED lighting R&D, set up semiconductor lighting institute and Guangdong province semiconductor lighting technology and application center, hold more than 10 national patents of LED street light.
