Kingsun LED Street Light Project in Panama on November 2010
In November 2010, a mail came to Kingsun telling a large logistic company from Panama city is in urgent need of LED street lights.
After mail contacts with the client, we were told it’s for their newly-built warehouse. As a logistic company, they have a huge traffic vehicle flow day and night, therefore the lighting should play an important part out of security issues. They had thought about choice of high pressure stadium lights, but gave it up eventually taking glares, flickers and high power consumption into consideration. After a market investigation, they found the priorities of LED street light and turned to Kingsun for solutions.
Knowing the warehouse is with a height of 7.5 meters and they required a high illuminance, our engineer gave out a lux calculation accordingly. We chose Kingsun LED street light Type RL1B 159 watts for the lighting, lens Type A2 to decrease the glare and overlapping of lighting areas and Cree chip for a long working lifespan.
Expressing satisfactory on the calculation and the warranty Kingsun provided, the client soon placed an initial order of 82 LED street lights. Now the lights have been working for almost half a year and we’ve received good comments from the client that they’re pleased to see the lights are working steadily and receiving excellent energy saving effect. They also expressed their further cooperative will that they’d like to lighten their new large-scale storing area with Kingsun’s LED lights next spring.
