(2010-07-16)Japanese Government Planning to Lighten the National Highway with LED

The NLIT of Japan will constitute guidelines related to replacing the luminaires on the national highway with LED lights.

The NLIT plans to install 40 LED lights within an one-kilometer section on the national highway in Koto-ku, Tokyo initially in November, 2010, then 50-60 lights in Kyushu by the end of March, 2011 for testing.
