(2007-11-15)Kingsun successfully holds scientific and technological achievements evaluation meeting of high-power LED street lamp

In the afternoon on Nov.13, 2007, scientific and technological achievements evaluation meeting of “High-power LED Street Lamp” (the technological plan program of Guangdong which is co-developed by Kingsun and Tsinghua University) was held in Changping Licheng Holiday Hotel, which is organized and hosted by Guangdong Bureau of Science and Technology.

In the afternoon, accompanied by president of Kingsun Li Xuliang, Assistant General Manager Zhu Bingzhong, and other leaders, expert evaluation committee composed of more than ten professors and senior engineers from Zhongshan University, South China Normal University, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou University, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou Institute of Semiconductor Material, and Guangzhou Institute of Electrical Apparatus Science, etc visited and Kingsun high-power LED street lamp workshop, LED sample hall and LED inspection spot.

In the evaluation meeting, the experts listened carefully about final working report, final technology report, latest technology testing report, inspection report and users’ suggestions of LED street lamps of Kingsun LED R&D Center and lodged their questions. Zhu Bingzhu, our Assistant General Manager and charger of LED R&D Center, and Prof. Luo Yi of Tsinghua University answered questions of experts. After earnest discuss of expert group, they all considered that compared with domestic relative technology, the principal technical indices of this science and technology achievement had reached domestic leading level, and all agreed to pass the science and technology achievements evaluation. Additionally, the expert group suggested that we should enlarge industrial promotion and create more economic and social benefit.
